Welcome! The Silver Creek Regional Humane Society, Inc. is a non-profit, grassroots organization that was formed by local citizens to serve Apache and Navajo Counties, as well as the rural areas of Arizona's White Mountains. Our concern is for the significantly high numbers of abandoned and stray companion pets found wandering along rural roads, in the forest, and dumped in neighborhoods within city limits. We are also concerned about the numerous horses and other livestock that have been neglected, starved or abused. Our goals include changing the vague local animal control and cruelty ordinances along with increasing enforcement and prosecution of abusive caretakers.
